e-voyageurs SNCF, a subsidiary of the SNCF, called on Spirtech to improve its ticketing system. The French railway company had a strong need for reliability for all its networks in France and it wanted a high performance system with redundancy.
Spirtech arrived with its army of engineers and set up HSM 360 to remotely manage the ticketing keys. Indeed, vending machines without SAM are running smoothly in all regions and and remote vending is possible.
The fabulous engineers of Spirtech also secured the access to the HSM to protect it from fraud. And they placed the HSM 360 at two independent locations, to keep the system running in the event of a breakdown.
The project was implemented in three stages:
And this is how e-voyageurs SNCF achieves more than 3 million transactions per month without any worries and how it brilliantly manages the reloading peaks during monthly renewal periods.
