Leslie tells you the story!
Leslie, currently in Montreal with her cousin, has noticed a difference since her last visit. She observed this difference in the public transportation, on her way to the movies.
She was about to get in line to reload her OPUS card at a reloading station, when her cousin stopped her and told her that it is now possible to load her OPUS card with her phone thanks to the integrated mobility experiment.
To do this, you just have to:
- Download the Recharge OPUS app on your iPhone or Android.
- Buy your ticket.
- Place your card on the back of your phone to reload it.
And that's it!
Leslie finds the app very intuitive and reloading is done in a few seconds. The two cousins continue on their way and arrive early for their movie. They even have time to buy popcorn before the movie starts.
This integrated mobility experiment in the Montreal metropolitan area is possible thanks to NFC contactless technology and the highly secure Recharge OPUS app, created by Spirtech. Spirtech's CCM module in the app allows for secure transactions through remote key management.
