Today it's Leslie's birthday. Since she was born, she has seen many changes. On the eve of her 20th birthday, she looks back on all the changes that have taken place. Among them, there have been some big changes in mass transport.
Even then, there was no card to enter the subway: it was just paper subway tickets. Okay, she doesn't remember it very well because she was a little girl, but she knows it. Then Spirtech was founded and the transport card was introduced progressively. Coincidence? Certainly not!
In 2000, Stéphane, François and Frederic founded Spirtech, a spin-off from RMT. They created the ticketing technologies that allow the easy and safe use a transport card. They are at the origin of the famous Calypso standard, the NFC and the ISO 14443 standard. They are also the ones who created the SAM and the HSM in order to secure the transport card.
Reflecting on this, Leslie realizes that things have changed a lot during her teenage years. She got her first cell phone with many applications. One of these applications was dedicated to public transportation and allowed her to see the arrival of the next subway, the fares of the tickets... As phones evolved, so did transportation applications and Leslie remembers that she began to be able to load her transportation card with her phone.
These changes coincide with the arrival of Yola at Spirtech who saw the potential of his great engineers and pushed them to go further. And it worked:
